These are starting scopes. We confirm the fit, price and start date before work begins. Design, hosting and third-party usage are included only when explicitly listed.

Included in every option

Chat UI, one agreed model/provider, document indexing and retrieval, source citations, insufficient-source handling, source code and checks against agreed questions.

Outside this scope

Model/hosting fees, OCR/scanned documents, voice, messaging-channel bots and professional legal or accounting decisions. Retrieval does not guarantee every model answer is correct.

What we need to start

Documents you have permission to use, representative user questions, a model provider account, access rules and the intended deployment. Use anonymised samples for the initial discussion.

How the work is delivered

  1. Implement the agreed workflow in your repository.
  2. Check the acceptance criteria and show the result on staging.
  3. Apply the included revisions and hand over the code and setup notes.

We discuss the work in writing, share a test version and provide handover notes. We work on one delivery at a time, taking larger projects through successive stages.

Before we start

Can we work without frequent calls?

Yes. Requirements, updates and feedback can be handled in writing. Calls in English or Spanish need an agreed interpreter arrangement.

What counts as a revision?

One consolidated feedback round within the agreed scope. New pages, integrations or workflows are quoted separately. Corrections needed to meet the agreed acceptance criteria are part of delivery.

Do you use AI tools?

I use AI-assisted development where appropriate and remain responsible for reviewing, testing and delivering the code. We agree on any client restrictions before starting; private material is not shared with third-party tools without permission.
